- Input Requirement List: the specific collection of token and layer icons on an βοΈInitiative card that shows the total resources the π₯Group must spend to finish the βοΈInitiative. - πMeaning reward: the specific amount of global stability the π₯Group gains when they finish an βοΈInitiative. - Output Bonus Reward: a supplemental effect triggered when an βοΈInitiative is finished. These rewards provide unique advantages that vary from card to card. While every βοΈInitiative helps the π₯Group (πMeaning) and provides points (π³Legacy), the Bonus reward represents the practical, immediate utility of the structure the π₯Group just built. A "Water System" βοΈInitiative might have a Bonus reward of "+2 βοΈEnergy to the lead contributor."
- Optional penalty: an immediate side effect that affects π₯players or the world state after the build is finished. When an βοΈInitiative with a penalty completes, you flip the top card of the π Event deck. You ignore the numerical πMeaning change on that card and only resolve the specific penalty text listed at the bottom (such as losing tokens; βοΈ π β€οΈ or π‘οΈVitals). For example, Imagine the π₯Group completes the "Water System" βοΈInitiative with the βοΈInitiative card states there is an 'Optional penalty'. The π₯Group flips the next Event card. The π Event says "-3 πMeaning" and "All Contributing π₯Players lose 1 π‘οΈVitals." You ignore the -3 πMeaning, but every π€player must immediately drop their π‘οΈVitals by 1.

- Definition
An Output Signature is the functional manifestation of a cardβs Layer. It represents the permanent structural contribution a card makes to the engine (personal) or the world state (shared).
- Connection to Layer
Each card produces one Output Signature that matches its assigned Layer number. For example, a Layer 7 card provides a Layer 7 Signature. While the Layer identifies the cardβs category, the Signature is the "key" used to satisfy requirements for other Patterns or Initiatives.
- Examples (Social/Systemic)
- Layer 7 (Presence): Provides a signature of unified attention.
- Layer 8 (Social): Provides a signature of shared institutional trust.
